Introduction
Master of Clinical Pharmacy of The University of Surabaya is a Postgraduate Program developed in response to the need for expertise in Clinical Pharmacy that work directly with medical doctors, other health professionals, and patients to ensure that the medications prescribed for patients contribute to the best possible health outcomes. The Ubaya Master of Clinical Pharmacy program developed with the aim to prepare graduate to work in the health care environments, such as hospitals and their affiliated outpatient clinics, emergency departments, community pharmacies, medical doctors’ offices, community-based clinics, nursing homes, and managed health care organizations.
The Ubaya Master of Clinical Pharmacy program established in 2005 and recently graduated more than 80 Clinical Pharmacists. The academic activity conducted in 1.5 to 2 years that covers lectures, tutorials, inter professional discussions, seminars, practical activities, work experiences in hospital, written tests, oral tests, proposal and thesis also bedside examination. The participants of Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program should be the Bachelor in Pharmacy, completed Pharmacy professional program and licensed as Pharmacist (Apt).

Delivery methods
Master of Clinical Pharmacyof The University of Surabaya delivers hard skill and interpersonal skill in balance. The well-developed interpersonal capabilities are regarded extremely important besides knowledge, therefore we use mode of delivery such as class lecture, tutorials, individual and group problem-based learning, class and group discussion, practical work in medical centers/hospitals and clinics, presentation, and final project/thesis/internship. The course will be delivered by scholars and experts from Ubaya, expert health practitioners and Clinical Pharmacists from hospitals, and Regulatory Affairs.
Study Program
The Master ofClinical Pharmacy Study Program of The University of Surabayaincludes common core courses in Pharmaceutical Sciences and track-specific core courses, and a Master’s thesis. The common core courses cover a variety of topics that must be followed by all master students. The track-specific courses cover a variety of more specific topics for master students in the concentration of Clinical Pharmacy.
