Bio event 2013, Invent – interact – invest

The Bio-event 2013 is an international forum for sharing technological inventions and creative ideas in the bio-related fields such as bio-energy, bio-medicine, bio-cosmetic, biosanitation, bio-material, and bio-food dedicated to enhance the quality of human life and the world sustainability. This international forum will bring together inventors, business persons, industry persons, and researchers to build up networking and collaboration. The invention sharing by the inventors together with hands-on involvement by the participants might lead to investment for implementation or further research. It is bringing Bio- Sciences onto the right thinking part and our day to day business processes. It is notan academic paper presentation. Presentation must be in a show, tell and touch mode.

Participants will do a bio-invention tour in Ubaya Campus. They will try touch each invention, presented in the first day, and make in-depth discussion with inventors for further research, implementation or investment. A number of minor bio-inventions are also displayed from local inventors besides these key open discussion areas.

Participants

The intended participants are from related industries (e.g. pharmaceutical, food, agriculture, energy, automotive, consumer products, chemical, hotel, etc), researchers, government officers, and any person interested in bio-invention. This is not a purely academic event.

Organizer

This event is jointly organized by University of Surabaya in Indonesia and Tan Chong Centre of Asian Management Studies (under Tan Chong Group) based in Malaysia.
